Start from a sample script:
Free clips are up to 500 characters, with no sign-up and no watermark. Longer scripts, voice cloning and more voices are on the paid plans.
A voice over script is written to be heard, not read. Keep sentences short, use everyday words, and say one idea per sentence. Read it out loud once yourself: if you run out of breath, the sentence is too long.
As a rough guide, natural speech runs at about 140 to 160 words per minute, so a 30-second video needs around 70 to 80 words. Write to that length first, then trim. A script that fits the video is better than a fast voice that tries to squeeze everything in.
Because each clip takes seconds, you can try two or three versions of the same line and keep the one that fits the picture best.
Yes. Clips of up to 500 characters are free, with no sign-up needed to try, and you can download each one as an MP3. Longer text and more generations need an account or a plan, see the pricing page.
Yes. You can use the audio you generate in your own videos and projects, such as YouTube videos, ads, slides and online courses.

Each free clip is up to 500 characters, about 30 to 40 seconds of speech. For a longer video, split the script into parts and join the MP3s in your editor.
Yes. Open "More options (free)" under the box to make the voice faster or slower or change its pitch. Small changes sound more natural than big ones.
The free box above is capped at 500 characters per clip. If you need longer scripts (up to 5,000 characters per generation), voice cloning or higher-quality voices, take a look at the plans. Nothing here is required to use the free tool.
